  • Blocks inside a mega menu panel (Icon List icons, lists, columns) keep their styling. Since panels started being cached, a cached panel could show them unstyled, with Icon List icons missing. Panel block styles are also printed inline now instead of as extra files that delayed the page.

  • Mega menus work from the keyboard: Space or Enter opens a panel, Tab moves into it and on past its last link to the next menu item, and Escape closes it and returns to its menu item (in the mobile menu a second Escape closes the menu). Screen readers announce the menu item as expandable. Nothing changes for mouse users.
  • Update checks use the Dirigible theme's license handling, so a plugin with no license key no longer sends an empty one.

Panels with a login link, latest posts or events, a form, a reusable block, a plugin block or a shortcode still render live, and the cache refreshes when a panel, the menu or the Customizer is saved, after updates, and every 12 hours.

  • A visitor who lands while the plugin is being updated sees "This site is updating, refresh in a minute" instead of a critical error, and error replies never include server file paths.
