Dirigible AI Alt Text

Dirigible AI Alt Text uses AI to write alt text for your images, plus excerpts, SEO meta descriptions, featured images, and crop focal points. It adds four tools under AI in the WordPress admin:

• AI Alt Text writes Alternative Text for images in your Media Library.
• AI Excerpts writes post excerpts and SEO descriptions.
• AI Featured Images suggests a featured image for posts that don't have one.
• AI Focal Points marks the subject of each photo so crops keep it in frame.

Getting started

1. Install and activate Dirigible AI Alt Text alongside the Dirigible theme.
2. Open the tool you need under AI (AI Alt Text, AI Excerpts, AI Featured Images, or AI Focal Points).
3. Save an OpenRouter key for the whole site under AI → Settings. Leave Model on the recommended default, then generate.
