Dirigible Publications

Publish a magazine or journal online: articles grouped into issues, each issue with a cover, volume, number, date, and description. Issue pages list their articles; article pages carry a table of contents for the whole issue in the sidebar. List issues with the Issue Archive and Latest Issue blocks, and pick out articles with Featured Articles.

Use Usage to set up your first issue. Articles (the post type), Issues, and Categories cover the editor. Settings has the web address, the issues page, and heading styles.

Getting started

• Install and activate Dirigible Publications with the Dirigible theme and ACF. Install Dirigible People too if articles have bylines.
• Create an issue under Publications → Issues, with a cover image and an Issue Date.
• Add articles under Publications → New Article and assign each one to its issue.
• Put the Issue Archive block on a page, then choose that page as the Issues Page under Publications → Settings.
