Latest Issue

Usage

The Latest Issue block shows the issue with the newest Issue Date as a wide panel: cover with a Featured Label badge, title, description, the volume, number, and date line, and a Read Issue button. Search for Latest Issue in the block inserter.

It is the featured panel from Issue Archive on its own, so it updates by itself when you publish a new issue.

When to use it

Use it on the home page or in a sidebar-free landing section. Pair it with Featured Articles for a magazine front page.

Tips

• The block picks the issue with the newest Issue Date that has a published article. An issue with no date only shows when no dated issue has one.
• Fill in the Issue Title and Issue Description on each issue; the panel shows both.
