Overview

Find these under Publications → Settings, in Settings. They set where issues and articles live on the site and which page is the issues index. Heading styles for the pages are under Issue Page Settings and Article Page Settings, each with a preview.

These settings used to be under Appearance → Customize → Dirigible Publications. They moved with the same values, so there's nothing to set again, and old links to the Customizer open the new page. On a site whose Dirigible theme hasn't updated yet, they're still in the Customizer.

Settings

  • Slug — the first part of every issue and article address (default issues: /issues/issue-name/ and /issues/issue-name/article-name/). Issue and article addresses switch to the new slug when you save
  • Issues Page — the page with your Issue Archive block. The All Issues → button on issue pages and the Issues breadcrumb on article pages point to it. Without it, neither appears
  • Return to Issues Text — the button's label (default All Issues →)
  • Volume Label and Number Label (under Labels) — the words before the volume and number on the issue line (default Volume and Issue Number, as in "Volume 12 · Issue Number 3")

The Customizer's Title Label and Date Label aren't on the page: they were never shown anywhere on the site.

Tips

  • Set Issues Page as soon as the issues page exists. It is the only way back from an issue to the full list.
