Issue Archive
Usage
The Issue Archive block lists every issue that has at least one published article, newest Issue Date first. Search for Issue Archive in the block inserter.
With Feature Latest Issue on (the default), the newest issue appears first as a wide panel: cover, Featured Label, title, description, the volume, number, and date line, and a Read Issue button. The rest follow as cover cards in a grid.
When to use it
Put it on your issues page, then choose that page as the Issues Page under Publications → Settings so issue and article pages can link back to it.
Tips
- An issue with no Issue Date is listed after the dated ones, so set one on every issue to keep the order right.
- Featured Label and Read Issue Text only appear after the setting they belong to is on.
- The featured panel uses the Issue Title field, so fill it in on the newest issue. Cards fall back to the issue's name.
