Shows

Usage

The Shows block lists the dates from the Shows screen. Use it once on a Shows or Tour page with Both, as tabs, and again on the home page with Cards and How many dates set to 3.

Dates move from Upcoming to Past on their own the day after a show, even on pages that haven’t been edited since.

Dates

• Upcoming (default) — today’s show and everything after, soonest first
• Past — finished shows, most recent first. No ticket buttons; cancelled shows are marked
• Both, as tabs — Upcoming and Past tabs above one list

Layouts

• Date tiles (default) — a month, day, and year tile, the weekday and time, then “City • Venue”, and a ticket button on the right
• Columns — the date on its own line, then venue, city, and a Tickets › link in three columns, in capitals
• Compact — date, city, and venue stacked in tight rows, with small buttons on the right
• Cards — a grid of cards, good for the next few shows on a home page
• Simple list — one line per show, for a sidebar or footer

On phones, every layout stacks.

Other settings

• How many dates — 0 (default) shows them all
• Ticket button text — defaults to “Tickets”. Try “Find Tickets” or “RSVP”
• When there are no upcoming dates — the line shown when nothing is coming up. Defaults to “No upcoming dates. Check back soon.”

Tips

• Colours follow the section the block sits in, so it works on dark backgrounds too.
• A show’s ticket button only appears when it has a Tickets link and its status is Scheduled or Free.
