Licensed fonts

Most families in Dirigible Fonts are open-source or bundled for Dirigible sites. A small set carries a Requires License badge in the directory.

Which families need a license

Currently:

  • Azo Sans
  • Brandon Grotesque
  • Nordique Pro

The footer on the Fonts screen reminds you to register your domain with the font provider when you use these families.

Before you add one

  1. Confirm your organization holds a valid license for the family.
  2. Register your live domain with the font vendor if their terms require it.
  3. Click Add to Site only after licensing is in place.

Using a licensed family without proper registration can violate the font foundry’s terms. Dirigible does not manage third-party font contracts for you.

On the site

Licensed families work the same as other bundled fonts once activated — copy the Stack into Styles → Fonts and tune weights like any other family. The badge is a reminder at selection time, not a separate loading path.

Need a different commercial face?

If your brand font is not in the catalog, ask Dirigible to add it or load it through Scripts & Embeds → Embed Fonts in the Customizer for hosted CSS from Adobe Fonts, Typekit, or similar providers.
