Freeform Footer
Overview
Freeform Footer has two site-wide controls: Enable and Footer. Leave Enable off to keep the theme footer from Footer & Contact.
Where to find these settings
- In the WordPress admin, go to Appearance → Customize
- Open Dirigible Plugins
- Select Freeform Footer
Settings
- Enable — replaces the theme footer with the selected Footer. Off by default. The Customizer still shows Footer & Contact, but those layout settings no longer apply while this is on.
- Footer — which published Footer to show. The list is empty until you publish at least one. If none is selected, or the selected item is missing, the theme footer stays even when Enable is on.
Tips
- Publish a Footer first, then pick it here, then turn Enable on.
- The Dirigible Attribution line still prints below the footer. That control is under Appearance → Customize → Settings → General.
- Landing page templates and Link in Bio pages skip the site footer entirely.
