Categories

Overview

Categories group packages: seasonal specials, golf packages, romance packages. The Packages block lists a category when its Package Selection is By Category.

Add categories under Packages → Categories, or from the Categories box while editing a package.

Details

• Parent and child categories: yes
• Category pages: there is no designed page for a category. List it with the Packages block instead
• Packages list: packages are not filtered by category in the admin list; open a package to see its categories

Tips

• By Category leaves out expired packages and drafts by itself, so a package only needs its Expiration Date set.
• One package can sit in several categories.
