Salespeople

Overview

Find these under Salespeople → Settings. They rename Salespeople throughout the admin and control the reps' own pages. They do not change the Find a Salesperson block.

These settings used to be under Appearance → Customize → Dirigible Plugins → Salespeople. They moved with the same values, so there's nothing to set again, and old links to the Customizer open the new page. On a site whose Dirigible theme hasn't updated yet, they're still in the Customizer.

Pages

• Slug — the address of rep pages, as in /salespeople/rep-name/ (default salespeople)
• Public — lets reps be added to navigation menus under Appearance → Menus (default off)
• Salesperson Pages — gives each rep a page of their own (default on). While it's on, reps are left out of site search. Older versions called it Allow Archives
• With Front — starts rep page addresses with your permalink prefix (such as /blog/), if your permalinks have one (default on)

Names

• Singular Name / Plural Name — what a rep is called, singular and plural (default Salesperson / Salespeople). The menu, the page heading, the editor labels, and the Salesperson Data box follow them

Select Save Settings when you're done. Rep page addresses update by themselves after you change Slug, With Front or Salesperson Pages.

Tips

• Most sites only need the search block: turn Salesperson Pages off if reps shouldn't have pages of their own.
• Rename reps before you add many: the import spreadsheet and the admin menu use your names.
• If you renamed reps, the menu and settings page follow your name, such as Representatives → Settings.
