Booking Form
Usage
The Booking Form block is where visitors book. It shows the next available dates, the session times for the chosen day (with the spots left), then tickets, extras, your questions and the waiver, and a button to check out or reserve.
Every new bookable page already has one. Add it to any other page (a homepage, a "Plan your visit" page) and choose which bookable it books under Bookable in the sidebar.
Dates and times load live when the page opens, so visitors never see a full session as available. Fully booked days stay visible, crossed out; choosing one offers the Next available time, and a Next available link beside Date jumps back to the soonest opening.
In the editor the block is a preview of the form, built from the bookable's settings, with an Edit button on each part. Extras show there even before you add any, so you can start from Edit Extras; visitors only see the section once there's an extra.
Under Layout in the sidebar:
- Stacked: everything in one column.
- Two columns: the form beside the bookable's featured image and excerpt (each can be hidden), a Details text you type right in the block, and a Booking summary card. The summary shows the chosen date and time, tickets, extras and the total, with the Book now button, and stays in view as visitors scroll. Pick Form side Left or Right. This layout uses Wide width (or Full, if you pick it in the toolbar); switching back to Stacked returns it to normal width. On phones it stacks: details, then the form, then the summary.
Under Dates in the sidebar, choose how visitors pick a day:
- Row (the default): a scrolling row of the next days. Suits booking a week or two ahead.
- Calendar: a month calendar with arrows to the next month. Suits longer booking windows. Weeks start on the day set in Settings → General. On phones it always shows as the date row.
