Categories

Overview

Categories group salespeople in the admin: by region, product line, or team. The Find a Salesperson block does not use them; it searches by Zipcodes only.

Add categories under Salespeople → Categories (the menu follows your Plural Name under Salespeople → Settings), or from the Categories box while editing a rep.

• Parent and child categories: yes
• Salespeople list: a Categories column shows each rep's categories, and you can filter the list by clicking one
• Category pages: none designed. Leave categories out of menus

Tips

• Use categories to keep a big team tidy in the admin. Visitors only ever search by zip code.
