Usage

The Locations block queries location posts and renders them as a Grid, Cards, or Features layout. Filter by region, type, or handpicked locations, and optionally add visitor-facing filter pills.

Real-world example

Steve Brown Apartments — Madison Parking uses a Locations block pattern with:

  • A card grid of parking properties (128 Langdon, 122 E. Gilman, etc.)
  • Filtering set to By Region with pills like Show All and Central Campus
  • Each card: property name (title) and availability/pricing in the excerpt ("Garage parking available for $295/mo. Available 8/17!")
  • An inquiry form below the listing (page content, not part of the plugin)

Assign Regions taxonomy terms (e.g. Central Campus) and use location-type for garage vs lot vs surface parking.

Tips

  • Put pricing and availability in the post excerpt for scannable listing pages.
