Locator Block Settings

Overview

Locator Block Settings control caching for the Location Search block to balance freshness and performance.

Where to find these settings

  1. In the WordPress admin, go to Appearance → Customize
  2. Open Dirigible Locations
  3. Select the Locator Block sub-panel

Settings

  • Filter Label — label for the type filter on Location Search (default Type)
  • Locator Query Cache — hours to cache search query results (0–168, default 12)
  • Locator HTML Cache — hours to cache rendered HTML (0–168, default 18)

Tips

  • Use staggered cache times so query and HTML caches do not expire simultaneously.
  • Lower cache values during active location editing; raise on production locators.
