Packery Collection
Usage
Packery Collection queries published works and lays the featured images into a masonry (packed) grid. Hover a tile to see the work title on a tinted overlay. Each tile links to that work’s page.
Leave Collections blank for every work, or pick collections to limit the wall.
When to use it
Use this when the images are the story — photography, architecture, product shots — and you want mixed heights instead of a uniform card grid. Use Collection with Overlay or Cards when you also need excerpts and a written CTA on every item.
Items without a featured image are skipped.
Content
- Collections — which Collections to include. Leave blank for every published work that has a featured image.
- Links — each tile opens the work page. Link to Image is in the sidebar but does not change that destination today.
Appearance
- Order By / Order — Default menu order, or sort by date, title, or last modified
Tips
- Give every work a strong featured image. Empty tiles are omitted.
- On large screens the wall uses up to five columns; it collapses on smaller viewports.
- Sort with Order By when menu order is not the sequence you want.
Settings
Collection
Each tile opens the work’s page. Link to Image is in the sidebar but does not change the destination today.
- Link to ImageStill opens the work page. The image URL is not used.
- Link to WorkOpens the work page (the current behavior for both options).
Which Collections to include. Leave blank to show every published work that has a featured image.
How works are sorted. Default follows the order in Portfolio.
Ascending or descending after you pick an Order By other than Default.
