Overview

These settings style each collection's public page. They don't change Collection blocks on your other pages; those use the block sidebar.

Where to find these settings

  1. In the WordPress admin, go to Appearance → Customize
  2. Open Dirigible Portfolio
  3. Select the Archives sub-panel

Settings

  • Headline Style / Subheadline Style — text styles for the collection name and description
  • Background Color / Reverse Print — the band behind the header and grid
  • Portfolio Item Style — Card or Seamless tiles
  • Collection Subheadline — shown when a collection has no description
  • Grid Columns — 1–6 items per row (default 3)
  • Excerpt Style — Normal, Small, or Hide
  • Link Style / Link Text — button or text link on each tile; leave Link Text blank to hide the link
  • Archive Images — Uniform crop or Preserve original proportions

Tips

  • Seamless tiles make a tight photo grid. Cards leave room for excerpts and links below each image.

Headline Style

Visual style for the collection name. The name stays an H1.

  • <h1> defaultLooks like your site's H1 style.
  • <h2>Looks like your site's H2 style.
  • <h3>Looks like your site's H3 style.
  • <h4>Looks like your site's H4 style.
  • <h5>Looks like your site's H5 style.
  • <h6>Looks like your site's H6 style.
  • <p>Looks like normal paragraph text.
Subheadline Style

Visual style for the collection description. The line stays an H2.

  • <h1>Looks like your site's H1 style.
  • <h2>Looks like your site's H2 style.
  • <h3>Looks like your site's H3 style.
  • <h4> defaultLooks like your site's H4 style.
  • <h5>Looks like your site's H5 style.
  • <h6>Looks like your site's H6 style.

Background Color

Background color behind the header and grid on collection pages.

Reverse Print

Light text for a dark background.

Portfolio Item Style

How each work appears in the grid.

  • Card defaultImage with title, excerpt, and link below.
  • SeamlessTighter tiles without the card frame.
Collection Subheadline

Shown under the collection name when the collection has no description (default Portfolio Collection).

Grid Columns

Works per row on collection pages (1–6, default 3).
