Overview

Create a work

  1. In the WordPress admin, go to Portfolio → Add Work.
  2. Add a title and featured image (required for most collection layouts).
  3. Fill the excerpt with the one-line summary shown on listing cards.
  4. Optionally set Subtitle in the sidebar for a second line on cards.
  5. Build the case study in the block editor.
  6. Assign at least one Collection — collection blocks filter by this taxonomy.
  7. Publish.

Put works on a page

Portfolio items do not use a native archive. Add a collection block to any page:

  1. Edit the page in the block editor.
  2. Insert Collection, Logo Collection, Logo Grid Collection, Packery Collection, or Portfolio Slider.
  3. In the block sidebar, choose the Collection term to display.
  4. Publish the page.

Each work links to its own case-study URL (default /work/{post-name}/, configurable under Settings → Portfolio Setup).

Tips

  • Assign Filters only when the Collection block will show visitor-facing filter pills.
  • Configure prev/next navigation and single-page fields under Settings → Portfolio Single.
