Spotify Player

Usage

The Spotify Player block plays your whole Spotify artist page: your top tracks, with a Follow button so listeners get your next release in their feed. It's made for pages about the band rather than one release: the home page, an About page, a press page. To play one release or song, use the Music Player block instead.

It plays the Spotify link under Music → Settings → Artist profiles. Set that once and every Spotify Player block uses it. Until it's set, the block shows a note in the editor and nothing on the site.

Visitors first see your newest release's cover with a "Load Spotify player" button. Spotify's player loads right there when they press it, or by itself a few seconds after the page has loaded once it's on screen, so it never slows the page down (or your PageSpeed score). On a site with a cookie notice, it only loads by itself for visitors who accepted cookies.

• Compact: one row with a play button (152 px tall) instead of the full player with your top tracks (352 px).
