Turn on Redirect file to this page on a doc so a bookmark or shared file URL opens the documentation page instead of the raw file. Lead gating and member access then apply as usual.

Things to know

  • This only works on hosts that run Apache. If the redirect does not take effect, ask your host whether the site runs on Apache.
  • Selected users docs don't need this. Their files move to private storage, and old file links open the doc on any host.
  • You can leave this off if sharing the raw file is fine.
