Overview

Collections group work into named sets, like a service line, a year, a client type, or a gallery theme. Collection blocks can show one or more collections, and each collection gets its own public page listing its work.

Add collections under Portfolio → Collections, then assign one or more on each work. Collections can have parent and child levels.

Collection pages

The header, grid columns, card style, and links on collection pages come from Appearance → Customize → Dirigible Portfolio → Archives.

Their URLs use the Customizer Collection Slug (default work-collections). Save Settings → Permalinks after you change it.

Tips

  • Leave a block's Collections picker blank to show all work.
  • Add a description to a collection to use it as that page's subheadline. Otherwise the page uses the Customizer Collection Subheadline.
  • For clickable filter buttons on one page, use Filters. Collections are for grouping and shareable pages.
