Collections

Overview

Collections group works into named sets — a service line, a year, a client type, or a gallery theme. Collection blocks query by these terms. Each collection also has a public archive page that lists its works.

Add terms under Portfolio → Collections. Assign one or more collections on each work.

Archive pages

Collection archives use the plugin’s collection template (unless the theme supplies taxonomy-work-collections.php). The header, grid columns, card style, and link treatment come from Appearance → Customize → Dirigible Portfolio → Archives.

The permalink segment is Customizer Collection Slug (default work-collections). Refresh permalinks after you change it.

Tips

• Leave the Collection block’s Collections picker blank to show every work; check specific terms to limit the listing.
• Write a term description when you want a custom archive subheadline; otherwise the archive uses the Customizer Collection Subheadline.
• Use Filters for visitor-facing pills on a single page — Collections are for grouping and archive URLs.
