Filters

Overview

Filters are labels you assign to works so a Collection block can show pills such as Show All, Branding, or Photography. Filters are for on-page narrowing, not public archive URLs.

Add terms under Portfolio → Filters. Assign them on each work you want to match.

How they appear

  1. On the Collection block, turn on Allow Filtering.
  2. Check the Filters terms that should become pills.
  3. Visitors click a pill to show works that have that filter (or Show All).

Filters do not have a public archive. Collection archives come from Collections.

Tips

  • Keep the filter list short — a handful of pills scans better than a long tag cloud.
  • Assign the same filter names you select in the block, or those pills will not match any works.
  • Use Collections when you need a shareable archive URL for a group of works.
