Event Categories

Updated

Overview

Find these under Events → Categories. You can pick categories in the event editor sidebar, and the Events and Events Calendar blocks can show only events from the categories you choose.

Details

  • Parent and child categories: yes, like WordPress post categories
  • Events list: a Categories column shows each event's categories
  • Block filtering: the category filter on Events and Events Calendar

Tips

  • Use top-level categories for broad groups ("Community", "Classes") and child categories for specifics.
  • Leave a block's category filter empty to show events from every category.
