Event Tags

Overview

Event Tags is a non-hierarchical taxonomy attached to the Events post type. Use tags for cross-cutting keywords that don't fit a strict category hierarchy.

Properties

• Hierarchical: no (flat tags like WordPress post tags)
• REST API: enabled
• Admin column: visible on the Events list table

Tips

• Tags are not exposed as block filters — use Event Categories for curated listings.
• Tags remain useful for admin organization and future theme integrations.
