Snippet
Usage
Insert Snippet on a page and pick a published snippet in the sidebar. The block prints that snippet’s title, excerpt, media, and inner blocks. Custom Title, Custom Excerpt, and Custom Image override those fields for this placement only — the snippet itself stays unchanged.
Set Display to Snippet (media beside the title) or Inline (title and excerpt above the body). When Display is Snippet, Content can stay always visible or collapse behind Show More.
When to use it
Use it when one reusable piece of content should sit in the page flow — a policy blurb, a how-to, or a bio you already wrote under Manifest → Snippets. Prefer Snippet Collection when visitors should pick among several snippets.
Tips
- Set Display to Snippet before Content appears. Expandable only adds the Show More bar in that layout.
- Headlines and Excerpts change how the title and summary look. They stay an H2 and a paragraph; hidden removes that line.
- A featured video on the snippet wins over its featured image unless you set Custom Image.
