Categories

Overview

Categories group Answers. Create terms under Answers → Categories. They are a flat list — there are no parent categories.

The Knowledgebase block and Knowledge Base FAQ can limit the listing to selected categories. Leave the block’s Category empty to show every answer.

Properties

• Hierarchical: no
• Public archive: yes — /knowledgebases/{category}/
• Admin column: yes, on the Answers list

A category archive is a Knowledgebase listing already filtered to that term.

Tips

• Add categories before you write answers, so every answer can be assigned one.
• Use category archives in the answer sidebar; you do not need a separate page per category unless you want one in the nav.
