Run Theme Setup on a new site

Theme Setup is the setup wizard for a new Dirigible site. In one pass it covers license keys, the core plugins, brand colors and fonts, your logo, social links, and optional starter pages.

Start the wizard

  1. Log in to WordPress.
  2. Go to Appearance → Theme Setup.
  3. Click Start, then move through each step with Next. Click Skip on any step that doesn't apply.

The wizard is meant for blank sites. If it has already been run, you'll see a Warning step first: continuing can replace the site's styles, fonts, images, and content. Click Exit to back out, or Proceed only if you're ready to start over.

What does each step do?

Welcome Start the wizard.
Licenses Enter your Dirigible license keys so the theme and plugins can update. You can also add them later under Dirigible → Licenses. See Add license keys for your Dirigible plugins.
Install Install a child theme and the core Dirigible plugins. See Use a child theme.
AI Optional. Add an OpenRouter key and a short site description so later steps can suggest content for you.
Details Your site's name and basic details, used throughout the theme.
Colors Your brand palette (the same colors as Styles → Palette in the Customizer).
Typography Pick your fonts (the same settings as Styles → Fonts).
Logo Upload the logo for your header.
Socials Links to your social profiles, shown in the header and footer.
Content Optional starter pages: Home, About, Contact, Blog, Showcase, T&C, Privacy Policy, and Menus.
Ready Finish and view your website.

Do Licenses and Install first. Some Customizer settings only appear once the plugins are active.

Starter pages are a starting point. Edit them, or delete any you don't need.
