Set up site newsletters

Site newsletters power footer (and related) signup CTAs. This is separate from the site pop-up form — for a modal signup see Setting up a site pop-up.

Choose a newsletter provider

  1. Go to Appearance → Customize → Settings → Newsletters.
  2. Set Newsletter to Mailchimp, Gravity Form, or Page.
  3. Fill the matching fields:
Mode Fields
Mailchimp URL, User, List
Gravity Form Gravity Form ID
Page Newsletter Page, Button Text, Button Style (Understated, Inline, Button, or Hollow)
  1. Click Publish.

Show it in the footer

  1. Open Appearance → Customize → Footer & Contact → Appearance.
  2. Turn on Show Newsletter.
  3. Optionally set Newsletter Headline and Newsletter Description (HTML Allowed).
  4. Publish.

Tips

  • You can reuse the same Gravity Form ID in the pop-up and in Newsletters, but they are independent controls — turn on only the surfaces you want.
  • Prefer Page mode when signup lives on a dedicated landing page instead of an embedded form.
  • Freeform footers do not automatically include this newsletter block — rebuild the CTA with blocks if you use Build a freeform footer.
