Enter and display business hours

Dirigible Open Hours stores your weekly schedule and can show it in the footer, main nav, or utility nav. Requires the Dirigible Hours plugin.

“Today” and open/closed status follow the WordPress timezone under Settings → General — there is no separate hours timezone control in the Customizer.

Enter the weekly schedule

  1. Go to Appearance → Customize → Dirigible Open Hours → Hours.
  2. For each day, set Open and Close (military time). Leave both blank for a closed day (Mon Open / Mon Close through Sun).
  3. Under Settings, set Week Starts On if your week does not start on Sunday.
  4. Click Publish.

Choose how hours appear

Still under Dirigible Open Hours → Settings:

  1. Set Hours Headline (default Hours) for the footer list heading.
  2. Footer Display — None, Every Day, or Open Days.
  3. Nav Display — None, Next Opening, or Hours Today (end of the main menu).
  4. Utility Nav Display — None, Next Opening, Hours Today, or Inline Hours (when utility nav is enabled).
  5. Pick a Format for how times print (for example 12:30 PM or 12 pm).

Tips

  • Use Open Days in the footer when you prefer a shorter list that skips closed days.
  • Freeform footers do not automatically include this hours list — add hours as blocks if you use Build a freeform footer.
  • Keep the WordPress timezone accurate so “today” and next-opening copy stay correct.
