Newsletters

Usage

Open Appearance → Customize → Settings → Newsletters and choose how visitors subscribe. Newsletter switches between Mailchimp, Gravity Form, and Page:

• Mailchimp — paste the URL, user, and list values from your Mailchimp embed code (only the marked segments, not the full URL).
• Gravity Form — enter the form ID that collects email sign-ups. Requires Gravity Forms.
• Page — pick a Newsletter Page and set Button Text plus Button Style for a link instead of an inline form.

Footer newsletter copy and visibility live under Footer & Contact — turn Show Newsletter on there after you connect a provider here.

When to use it

• Launching a footer email capture bar on the default footer layouts.
• Switching from Mailchimp to a Gravity Form (or vice versa) without rebuilding the footer template.
• Sending sign-ups to a dedicated landing page when the form is too long for the footer strip.

Tips

• Mailchimp needs all three fields (URL, user, list) before the footer form renders — incomplete values show a setup reminder in the preview.
• Gravity Form ID is the same number you use when embedding that form on a page or in the pop-up.
• Button Style options match theme button presets — Understated is the default arrow submit on Mailchimp forms.
• Pair with Pop-up → Content when you want the same list inside a modal instead of (or in addition to) the footer.
