Accent Border

Usage

Open Appearance → Customize → Footer & Contact → Accent Border to add a colored stripe above or below the footer. Turn on Enable Above Footer, Enable Below Footer, or both, then set the Height and pick a Color from your palette.

A stripe separates the footer from the page without changing the footer Background under Appearance.

When to use it

• Matching a header accent stripe so the page has a consistent top and bottom.
• Light footers on white pages that need a visible edge.
• Adding a splash of brand color without repainting the whole footer.

Tips

• Keep the height subtle (2–6px) so the stripe doesn't overpower the footer.
• Header accent borders are set separately under Header & Menus → Accent Border.
