Appearance
Usage
Open Appearance → Customize → Footer & Contact → Appearance to design the theme footer. Pick a Layout, set the Background and Reverse Print, then choose which areas appear: address, navigation, newsletter sign-up, and site search.
Headline Style and Text Size set how the footer headings and text look. Social icons follow Icon Size, and Social Colors switches them to each network's brand colors.
When to use it
- Replacing placeholder footer text with your real content before launch.
- Turning on Show Newsletter or Show Search.
- Dark footers on light pages: turn on Reverse Print for light text.
Tips
- Show Navigation displays the menu assigned to Footer Menu under Appearance → Menus. Create that menu first.
- Show Address displays the details you enter under Contact Information.
- The newsletter area needs a sign-up method set under Settings → Newsletters. Keep Show Newsletter off until it's ready.
- Additional Info is a free-form area for disclaimers or partner logos. Keep it short.
- This panel controls the built-in theme footer. A footer built with the Dirigible Footer plugin replaces it.
