Header 5

Usage

Open Appearance → Customize → Styles → Header 5 to configure the fifth step on your heading scale. Defaults mirror Header 4 — Alternate font, uppercase, bold — but you can diverge for a distinct meta or sidebar heading voice.

Applies to <h5> elements and the H5 visual style (is-style-h5) in blocks and templates.

When to use it

• Sidebar, footer, or filter panel headings that should stay smaller than card titles (H3).
• WooCommerce or archive templates that expose H5-sized labels.
• When you need two uppercase label sizes — tune Header 4 and Header 5 as a pair.

Tips

• If H4 and H5 look identical, change Color to Muted on one level for subtle hierarchy.
• Mobile Size matches desktop by default at this scale — only adjust if labels wrap awkwardly on phones.
• Prefer Styles → Tags for clickable filter chips; Header 5 is for semantic or visual headings, not pill navigation.
• Visual presets do not change HTML outline level — pick the block's actual heading tag for accessibility when it is offered.
