Usage

Open Appearance → Customize → Styles → Links to define the standalone link treatment used outside running text. Blocks and templates apply it with the Understated link style (is-style-understated, alt-link, or understated classes) — common on Grid cards, Heroes, Vignettes, and "Read more" rows.

Set Font (default Alternate), Size, Tracking, Weight, Style, Transform, Color, and Hover Color. Defaults lean uppercase and bold for a CTA-like text link distinct from inline prose links.

When to use it

• When card "Learn more" links look like body hyperlinks — they should follow this preset, not Inline Links.
• After Styles → Fonts → Alternate Font Stack, to realign standalone link voice with eyebrows and H4–H6 labels.
• Tuning Grid, Media Callout, or Timeline blocks that offer Understated versus Button link styles.

Tips

• Inline Links controls hyperlinks inside paragraphs; this section controls standalone text links — do not confuse the two.
• Hover Color defaults to Primary — a quick brand accent on interaction without filling a button shape.
• Some blocks also offer Button and Alternate button styles — those pull from Styles → Buttons, not here.
• Transform defaults to uppercase; set to None for sentence-case "Read more" links on editorial sites.
