Price List

A list of prices and descriptions, useful for restaurant menus or a list of services.

Usage

Price List displays a grid of offerings — each with a title, price, and description — ideal for restaurant menus, service lists, or product pricing bands. It works similarly to Grid but is specialized for name + price rows.

The parent holds Offering children (ds/price-list-card) and optional Heading blocks for section labels between groups of items.

Parent and child blocks

The Price List parent contains Offering children and optional Heading blocks.

Select Price List for column count, layout style, and shared title typography. Select an individual Offering to edit its title, price, and description. Use Add Offering on the parent to grow the list.

Parent settings

  • Columns — 2, 3, or 4 offerings per row on desktop (cards wrap to the next row on smaller viewports)
  • LayoutList (default) or Cards
    • List — dotted leader line between title and price; compact padding
    • Cards — background fill on each offering; no dotted leader line
  • Headline Style — visual style for every Offering title (H1–H6, paragraph, or bold paragraph presets). Titles stay an H4 in the page outline; changing this on the parent updates all offerings at once.

Offering (child)

Each Offering includes:

  • Title — item or service name (inline h4; parent Headline Style sets the visual preset)
  • Price — freeform text; defaults to $ formatting but accepts any currency or label (e.g. $12, €8, Market Price, Let's Talk)
  • Description — paragraph or list blocks below the title/price row

Use Tab to move quickly between title and price fields in the editor.

Headings

Insert a core Heading block between offerings when you need a category label in-row with your menu items (e.g. "Appetizers", "Entrees").

Block width

Price List supports Wide and Full alignment from the block toolbar and defaults to Wide width. Spacing follows your theme block margin — including when the list sits inside Columns.

Tips

  • Use List layout for classic menu styling with dotted price leaders.
  • Switch to Cards when offerings need visual separation on busy backgrounds.
  • Headline Style on the parent is the fastest way to match menu typography without changing the H4 outline level.
  • Price text is entirely freeform — remove the default $ prefix for non-USD menus or use labels like Free or Let's Talk.
  • Pair category Headings with 2-column layout for long menu sections.
