Show your social media icons anywhere on the site.

Usage

Socials shows your site's social media accounts as a row of linked icons. Unlike the standard WordPress Social Icons block, you don't add links to each block. You enter your accounts once in the Customizer under Social Media, and every Socials block on the site uses them.

Add or remove an account in the Customizer and every Socials block updates. Only platforms you've filled in appear.

Supported platforms include Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky, Mastodon, Discord, GitHub, Threads, email, phone, and more.

Appearance

Sidebar settings under Icons:

  • Size — icon size from 1–25 (default 5)
  • Use Brand Colors — shows each icon on its platform's own brand color, with a white symbol (black for Snapchat)
  • Color — when brand colors are off, one color for every icon (white, gray, dark, muted, primary, secondary, accent, or variant)

Layout

  • Justify — toolbar buttons align the icons left, center, or right
  • Block width — Wide or Full from the block toolbar

Editing accounts

You can't edit social links in the block sidebar. Go to Appearance → Customize → Settings → Social Media to add usernames or links. Leave a field blank to hide that platform everywhere, including the header, footer, and every Socials block.

The editor preview shows your current Customizer accounts.

Tips

  • Use Use Brand Colors for recognizable platform icons, or a single Color for a quieter row that matches your palette.
  • Place Socials in a Hero, Section, or contact area to show your accounts outside the header and footer.
  • On a dark background, increase Size and use white or brand colors so the icons stand out.
